Arc Gas Cost Calculator: What Will This Transaction Cost?

On most chains, "what will this cost?" has no reliable answer — gas is a volatile token with a floating price. On Arc, gas is USDC, so the fee is arithmetic: gas used times gas price, in dollars. This calculator does the multiplication for a single transaction, a batch of thousands, or a month of activity, and shows every common transaction type at your chosen gas price.

How do you use it?

Pick a transaction type — a native USDC transfer, a token transfer, an approval, a swap, a lock or vesting claim, adding liquidity, or deploying a token — or enter a custom gas amount. Set the gas price in gwei of USDC (the default is Arc's documented minimum base fee; your wallet shows the live estimate for any real transaction). Then set a batch size and a daily volume. The tiles show the cost of one transaction, of the batch, of thirty days at your daily rate, and how many transactions a single dollar buys. Enter another chain's per-transaction fee in the comparison field and the tool shows what the same batch would cost there and the difference.

Why is the answer so small?

Because of the units. Native USDC on Arc has 18 decimals — the EVM convention ETH uses — so one gwei of USDC is a billionth of a dollar (the decimals explainer). A 21,000-gas transfer at 20 gwei costs 21,000 × 20 × 0.000000001 = $0.00042 — less than a twentieth of a cent. Testnet activity averaged around $0.004 per transaction across all types in August 2026, consistent with a mix dominated by contract interactions rather than plain transfers. The gas fees guide explains why Arc's fee model is denominated this way and what it means for predictability; this page is just the calculator that follows from it.

What are the numbers good for?

Budgeting things that are impossible to budget elsewhere. A multisender run to 5,000 wallets is a known dollar figure before you upload the CSV. A payroll cadence, a monthly airdrop program, a month of a consumer app's transactions — each is a line item, not a range. For a token launch, the whole fee side of the cost breakdown — deploy, pool, lock, vest — totals dollars, which is why liquidity capital, not fees, is where launch budgets live. The comparison field exists for the honest version of the cross-chain argument: enter what you actually paid elsewhere last month and see the difference for your real volume, rather than trusting anyone's adjectives — including ours.

What doesn't it know?

Live gas prices — it uses the minimum base fee unless you change it, and network conditions can raise the effective price; read your wallet before a large batch. Exact gas per transaction — the estimates are typical EVM figures, and a specific contract's inputs change them; the wallet's estimate is authoritative. And service fees — Team Finance's flat fees and DEX swap fees are separate from gas and shown in each app before you confirm. What the calculator gets right is the shape: on Arc, the fee is a knowable dollar figure, and small enough that it stops being a decision.

FAQ

How much does a USDC transfer cost on Arc? At the minimum base fee, a native transfer is a few hundredths of a cent. Typical mixed activity on testnet averaged about $0.004 per transaction in August 2026.

What is a gwei of USDC? One billionth of a USDC — native USDC on Arc uses 18 decimals, so gas prices are quoted in the same units Ethereum uses for ETH.

Are the gas estimates exact? No — they're typical EVM figures for each transaction type. Your wallet's estimate for a specific transaction is the number to trust.

Does the calculator include Team Finance fees or DEX fees? No — it computes network gas only. Service fees are shown in each app before you confirm.

Where does the default gas price come from? Arc's documented minimum base fee. Live prices can be higher under load; edit the field to match your wallet's estimate.
