Your unlock schedule is the one part of tokenomics that the market reads without your help — every cliff and tranche is visible on-chain the moment it's deployed. This calculator lets you see it first: enter allocations, cliffs and vesting periods, and it shows circulating supply month by month, the largest single unlock, and the date the schedule completes. How do you use it?

Set total supply and the horizon you want to see. Then edit the allocation rows — the example loads a conventional five-way split (liquidity and community, team, investors, treasury, advisors) with market-typical cliffs — or add your own, up to six categories. For each row: percent of supply, the share unlocked at token generation (TGE), the cliff in months, the vesting duration after the cliff, and whether tokens release in monthly tranches or accrue linearly. The chart stacks cumulative unlocked tokens by category with the total circulating line on top; hover any month for the breakdown, or switch to the table view for exact figures. Set a TGE date and the hover shows calendar months instead of month numbers.

What should you be looking for?

Four things, which the summary tiles surface. Circulating at TGE: the only supply that should be liquid at listing is what's in the pool — if this number is much higher than your liquidity allocation, something is unlocked that buyers will ask about (the norms). The largest single-month unlock: cliffs that coincide — team and investors both cliffing at month 12 — create a supply shock in one month; stagger them. The 12- and 24-month circulating figures: these are what a diligent buyer computes to judge how much dilution they're signing up for (dilution math). And the fully-vested month: the horizon over which your team's incentives are contractually aligned with holders. If the chart shows a wall rather than a slope, redesign before you deploy — the deployment is the part you can't undo.

Why model it before deploying?

Because on-chain vesting is permanent in the ways that matter: Team Finance schedules enforce what you set, release terms can't be quietly rewritten, and durations extend rather than shorten. FAQ

Is the calculator free, and does it store my data? Free, and no — it runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent or saved.

What's the difference between monthly and linear release? Monthly releases equal tranches at each month boundary after the cliff; linear accrues continuously (shown here at month resolution). Both are common; monthly matches how most term sheets are written.

Can I model more than six allocations? Combine smaller categories — six is the practical limit for a readable chart, and buyers read fewer, clearer buckets more easily anyway.

Why does circulating supply matter more than total supply? Because it's what can actually be sold. Fully diluted valuation assumes every token is liquid; buyers price the gap between the two, and this schedule is that gap over time.
