ROBINHOOD CHAIN

Robinhood Chain Statistics: TVL, Transactions, Users, and Revenue

The current Robinhood Chain statistics, as of August 11–12, 2026: a record 11.6 million daily transactions (seven-day average), $494 million in DeFi TVL per DefiLlama, $1.08 billion in total value secured per L2Beat, and $3.6 million in July revenue — which made it the highest-earning Layer 2 that month, ahead of Base and Arbitrum One combined (Blockonomi).

Those four numbers come from three different sources measuring three different things, and most articles quoting them mix the methodologies without saying so. This page doesn't. Every figure below is timestamped, attributed, and explained — including why two reputable trackers report TVL figures that differ by half a billion dollars.

This page is updated weekly. Figures below were last refreshed on August 12, 2026. If you're citing Robinhood Chain statistics anywhere, check the timestamp next to each number — this chain is six weeks old and its numbers move fast in both directions.

Three of those numbers deserve immediate context. The 11.6 million daily transaction record was set while the chain's gas subsidy — Robinhood covers gas above $5 on wallet swaps — is still running; the 90-day program expires around the end of September 2026 (cryptonews.com), and transaction counts on any subsidized chain should be read with that in mind. The July revenue figure is genuinely remarkable for a chain that launched July 1: $3.6 million in its first month of existence, more than Base and Arbitrum One earned together over the same period (Blockonomi). And the DAU figure cuts the other way — active users are growing again week-over-week but remain 11% below the July 16 peak.

Why do DefiLlama and L2Beat report different TVL numbers?

Because they measure different things, and this is the single most common error in Robinhood Chain reporting. DefiLlama's chain TVL (~$494M as of August 12) counts value deposited into DeFi protocols on the chain — Uniswap pools, Morpho lending markets, Pleiades liquidity, and so on. It answers: how much capital is actively at work in the chain's applications?

L2Beat's total value secured, or TVS ($1.08B as of August 12), counts everything the rollup secures: assets bridged from Ethereum through the canonical bridge, assets bridged externally, and assets minted natively on the chain — whether or not they're deposited in any protocol. Tokenized stocks sitting idle in a wallet count toward TVS but not toward DefiLlama's TVL. It answers: how much total value lives on this chain?

Both numbers are correct. Neither is "the real TVL." The gap between them — roughly $590 million — is itself informative: it's value that sits on Robinhood Chain without being deployed into DeFi, much of it stock tokens and parked stablecoins. When you cite Robinhood Chain statistics, name the source and the methodology. When you read a number without either, discount it.

How fast has Robinhood Chain grown?

The compressed timeline, every entry sourced:

DateMilestone
Jul 1, 2026Mainnet launch on Arbitrum Orbit (docs.robinhood.com/chain)
Week 1~4M transactions; top-5 blockchain globally by DEX volume
Jul 12, 2026Daily DEX volume peaks at $568M — volume later cooled roughly 72% from this peak
Mid-Jul 2026Passes Base in daily active users, within three weeks of mainnet
Jul 16, 2026Daily active user all-time high
Jul–Aug 2026TVL climbs ~$400M → $600M → $733M (AMBCrypto)
Aug 6, 2026TVL all-time high of ~$775M (DefiLlama)
Aug 11, 2026Record 11.6M daily transactions, 7-day average (The Block)
Aug 12, 2026TVL $494M (DefiLlama); TVS $1.08B (L2Beat)

A few threads inside that table. The transaction race with Base was, for a stretch, a straight-up gas-subsidy war: during it, Robinhood Chain ran 7.6 million daily transactions against Base's 9.2 million (CoinGape), with both chains effectively paying users to transact. Robinhood Chain has since pushed past that to its 11.6 million record. The DEX volume story is the inverse shape — an extraordinary $568 million single-day peak on July 12, driven heavily by memecoin churn during the Noxa launchpad era, followed by a ~72% cooldown as that speculative wave broke. And TVL round-tripped: roughly $400 million at launch, $775 million at the August 6 high, $494 million now.

Growth on this chain, in other words, isn't one line going up. It's three lines — transactions, volume, and parked capital — moving on different schedules. The section on what the numbers mean, below, deals with that honestly.

How much revenue does Robinhood Chain generate?

$3.6 million in July 2026, its first calendar month — the highest of any Layer 2, exceeding Base and Arbitrum One combined for the month (Blockonomi). Revenue here means what users paid the chain (sequencer fees) minus what the chain paid Ethereum for data posting; it's the operating profit of running the rollup.

Two structural notes make this figure more interesting than a single month's ranking. First, Robinhood Chain earned it while subsidizing gas above $5 on wallet swaps — the revenue came despite the chain eating a share of its own fee income to acquire users. See our Robinhood Chain gas fees guide for how fees actually work on the chain. Second, the revenue doesn't all stay with Robinhood: under the Arbitrum Expansion Program, 10% of chain revenue is routed to the Arbitrum ecosystem — 8% to the Arbitrum DAO and 2% to the Dev Guild (crypto.news). That's the standing cost of building on Arbitrum's Orbit stack, and it means Arbitrum earns more from Robinhood Chain's success than from most of its own Orbit chains.

What's happening with stablecoins on Robinhood Chain?

The most significant on-chain shift of August: Ethena's USDe reached $253 million on Robinhood Chain — roughly 43% of the chain's stablecoin float — flipping USDG as the dominant stablecoin (The Block / Cryptopolitan, Aug 11). A month earlier, USDe's footprint on the chain was about $17 million. That is a 14x rise in four weeks.

USDG has not been displaced from its structural role: it remains the chain's native-integration stablecoin, selected with yield-sharing to network participants, and it still powers Robinhood Earn's roughly 7% yield through Morpho vaults. What flipped is where third-party capital parks. Yield-bearing USDe arriving in size, while transaction-side metrics cool from their peaks, is capital choosing to sit rather than to trade — a theme The Block made explicit (more on that below). For the full breakdown of what each stablecoin is, who issues it, and which one you should actually hold for which purpose, see our USDG vs USDe comparison.

What do the numbers actually mean? An honest read

Here is the tension a fair reading has to hold: Robinhood Chain is simultaneously the highest-revenue L2 in the world and a chain whose user activity has cooled from its July peaks.

The bull case is in the revenue and transaction lines. $3.6 million in month one, more than Base and Arbitrum One combined (Blockonomi), is not a vanity metric — it's users paying real fees at volume. The 11.6 million daily transaction record was set in August, after the memecoin mania cooled, which suggests a base of activity beyond pure speculation. And the chain became the largest blockchain by RWA holder count — 420,000+ holders of tokenized real-world assets within six weeks (CryptoBriefing) — a category no other L2 leads.

The honest counterweight: daily active users are 11% below their July 16 peak, DEX volume is down roughly 72% from July 12, and TVL sits $281 million below its August 6 high. The Block's August 11 framing is the sharpest available summary: on Robinhood Chain right now, "capital parks rather than transacts." Money is arriving — USDe's $253 million says so — but increasingly it sits in yield positions rather than churning through DEX trades. DAUs did grow 3.3% week-over-week in the latest reading, so the cooling may be flattening out, but one week is not a trend.

Both stories are true at once, which is normal for a six-week-old chain exiting its launch mania. What would change the picture: DAUs reclaiming the July peak without a subsidy (watch late September, when the gas program ends), or DEX volume re-rating on stock-token and RWA activity rather than memecoins. What the broader Robinhood Chain ecosystem builds between now and then decides which line wins. One thing the activity statistics don't measure at all is who controls the chain — for that, see our Robinhood Chain decentralization analysis.

Where do these numbers come from? Methodology and sources

Every statistic on this page traces to one of the following, and each use above is timestamped inline:

  • DefiLlama (defillama.com/chain/robinhood-chain) — chain TVL, DEX volume, stablecoin float. Methodology: value deposited in on-chain DeFi protocols.
  • L2Beat (l2beat.com/scaling/projects/robinhood) — total value secured, plus the chain's decentralization and risk assessment. Methodology: canonically bridged + externally bridged + natively minted assets.
  • Blockscout (robinhoodchain.blockscout.com) — the chain's explorer; raw transaction counts and cumulative totals.
  • The Block (Aug 11, 2026) — transaction record, DAU trend, USDe flip, and the "capital parks rather than transacts" characterization.
  • Blockonomi — July revenue figures and L2 revenue ranking. crypto.news — Arbitrum Expansion Program revenue split. CoinGape — gas-war transaction comparison vs Base. Cryptopolitan — USDe/USDG flip corroboration. CryptoBriefing — RWA holder count. AMBCrypto — early-August TVL waypoint. cryptonews.com — gas subsidy end date.

We don't publish numbers we can't source, and we mark every figure with its as-of date because a six-week-old chain's statistics have a short shelf life. If a number here looks stale, the weekly refresh hasn't landed yet — the "last refreshed" date at the top of the page is authoritative.

FAQ: Robinhood Chain statistics

What is Robinhood Chain's TVL? $494 million as of August 12, 2026, per DefiLlama — down from the ~$775 million all-time high on August 6. L2Beat separately reports $1.08 billion in total value secured, a broader measure that counts all bridged and natively minted assets, not just capital deposited in DeFi protocols.

How many daily transactions does Robinhood Chain process? A record 11.6 million daily transactions on a seven-day average as of August 11, 2026, up 30% week-over-week (The Block). Cumulative transactions passed 100 million in early August. Note the chain's gas subsidy — Robinhood covers gas over $5 on wallet swaps — runs until roughly end of September 2026.

How many users does Robinhood Chain have? Robinhood doesn't publish an official user count. Daily active users grew 3.3% week-over-week as of August 11, 2026, but remain 11% below the July 16 peak (The Block). The chain passed Base in daily active users within three weeks of its July 1 mainnet launch.

How much revenue does Robinhood Chain make? $3.6 million in July 2026, its first month — the highest of any Layer 2, more than Base and Arbitrum One combined (Blockonomi). Under the Arbitrum Expansion Program, 10% of chain revenue goes to the Arbitrum ecosystem: 8% to the DAO and 2% to the Dev Guild (crypto.news).

Why do DefiLlama and L2Beat show different Robinhood Chain TVL figures? Different methodologies. DefiLlama's ~$494M counts value deposited in DeFi protocols on the chain. L2Beat's $1.08B total value secured counts everything the rollup holds — bridged assets, native assets, and idle tokens included. Both are correct; always cite which methodology a number uses.

What is the biggest stablecoin on Robinhood Chain? Ethena's USDe, at $253 million — roughly 43% of the chain's stablecoin float as of August 11, 2026, flipping USDG for the top spot after growing from about $17 million a month earlier (The Block / Cryptopolitan). USDG remains the chain's native-integration stablecoin and powers Robinhood Earn.

Is Robinhood Chain still growing? Mixed, honestly. Transactions hit an all-time high of 11.6 million daily in August and July revenue led all L2s, but daily active users sit 11% below their July 16 peak and DEX volume cooled about 72% from July 12. As The Block put it, capital currently "parks rather than transacts."
