Context for this comparison. Sablier Labs entered maintenance mode on 13 July 2026: development stopped, the interface is funded through June 2028, and the app now refuses new vesting or airdrops ending after June 2028 and all new open-ended streams. Existing Sablier contracts keep working indefinitely. Team Finance, by TrustSwap, is in active development with no end-date ceiling. The two overlap on fixed-term vesting, lockups and airdrops; they differ on custom curves, streaming, liquidity locks and Solana. Source: Sablier Labs. Last verified 6 September 2026.
We make Team Finance, so read this table knowing that. We have tried to make the cells accurate rather than flattering: there are four rows where Sablier is the better product, and they are marked as such. If a cell is wrong, tell us and we will change it.

Reading the table honestly
For fixed-term vesting and lockups on EVM chains, Team Finance is the more complete product today, mostly because it is still being built and because it has no end-date ceiling. Bulk upload, revocability and the claim dashboard are at parity or better. Liquidity locks are a Team Finance-only feature, and for any project launching on a DEX they are usually the first thing an investor or a screener checks.
For airdrops the two are closer than most people assume. Team Finance offers both a direct send (Multisender) and a scheduled claim campaign where recipients claim on the Team Finance dashboard at the same moment. What Sablier has and Team Finance does not is a branded claim page on your own domain from a Merkle root. If that matters to you, Sablier's contracts still work for campaigns ending before June 2028, and the GPL relicensing means they will keep being available in forked form after that.
For open-ended streaming, neither product is the answer for new streams: Sablier no longer creates them and Team Finance never did. Superfluid is the category leader.
Sablier also supports custom vesting curves (exponential, stepped); Team Finance is linear-plus-cliff only. For Solana, Sablier supports vesting and Team Finance does not — only liquidity locks. Streamflow and Bonfida are the Solana-native options.
The chain question cuts the other way. Sablier's deployment list is now final, so any chain Sablier never reached — Arc, Robinhood Chain, PulseChain, and newer L2s — will have Team Finance and will not have Sablier.
Who should pick which
Pick Team Finance if you are creating a new multi-year vesting or lockup on an EVM chain, if you need a liquidity lock, if you are launching on Arc, Robinhood Chain or PulseChain, or if you want one proof page covering token lock, liquidity lock and vesting together.
Stay on Sablier if your existing schedule ends before June 2028 and you have no reason to touch it, if you need a branded claim page for an airdrop, or if you are on Solana and need vesting. Nothing about maintenance mode requires you to move; the explainer covers why.
Look elsewhere if you need open-ended streams (Superfluid) or Solana vesting (Streamflow, Bonfida).
Frequently asked questions
Is Team Finance a full replacement for Sablier?
No. It fully replaces fixed-term vesting and lockups, and adds liquidity locks, but it does not offer a branded airdrop claim page, open-ended streaming, custom vesting curves, or vesting on Solana.
Which is safer?
Both are non-custodial and audited. Sablier reports zero security incidents over the protocol's life. Team Finance had one: in October 2022 a migration function in its V2 lock contract was exploited for about $14.5M, the funds were returned, and the V2 suite has since been audited by CertiK, BailSec and Zokyo with a $50,000 bug bounty in place. On today's contracts neither has a meaningful safety edge; the difference is feature set and product status.
Can I use both?
Yes, and many teams will for the next two years: existing schedules on Sablier, new schedules on Team Finance. The migration guide explains when consolidating is worth the effort and when it isn't.
Does Team Finance have a June 2028 limit?
No. Schedules can end on any date.
