Six lockers operate on Base, one is dead, and one is a mystery. We build one of them — so read this knowing that, and check every claim against the sources linked. That's the point of locks, after all.
Which liquidity lockers work on Base?
Six lockers currently operate on Base: Team Finance, UNCX Network, PinkLock (PinkSale), GoPlus SafeToken Locker, Unilocker, and DxLock (DxSale) — plus AeroLock, a niche Aerodrome locker with no published documentation, and BasedLock, which is offline entirely (its domain no longer resolves, as of August 2026). That last pair is your first lesson in locker selection: a lock is only as legible as the platform serving its lock page. If the locker's site disappears, your on-chain lock still exists — but the proof page you gave your community is a dead link, and dead links read like rugs.
How do the Base lockers compare?
| Team Finance | UNCX | PinkLock | GoPlus | Unilocker | DxLock | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LP lock fee (Base) | $150 flat, 0% | 0.1 ETH + 1% of your LP (v2); 0.1 ETH + 0.5% of liquidity + 2% of collected fees (v3, default) | Free (gas only) | Not published | 0.05 ETH flat | Not published |
| Pool types | Uniswap v2-style + v3 positions | v2, v3, v4, Aerodrome | v2-style LP tokens | v2, v3 (v4 per secondary reports) | Uniswap v2 only | v2 (documented) |
| Vesting | Yes ($100 flat) | Yes (0.05 ETH + 0.1% of tokens) | Yes (cycle-based) | Yes (schedules) | Yes | Token locks; vesting undocumented |

What does the fee structure actually cost you?
The fee models differ more than they look: a flat fee costs the same at any size, while percentage fees scale with your liquidity — locking $100,000 of LP with a 1%-of-LP fee costs $1,000 of your pool, versus $150 flat. That's the single most overlooked line in locker selection. Percentage-of-collected-fees models (charged on v3 position earnings) also keep costing you for the life of the lock. None of this makes percentage models illegitimate — it makes them worth computing for your pool size before you commit. At the other end, PinkLock is free, which is genuinely attractive for a memecoin budget; what you're not getting is published audits or the institutional track record, which is the actual product a locker sells.
Where is Team Finance not the best choice?
If your liquidity lives on Aerodrome or Uniswap v4, UNCX locks pool types Team Finance doesn't — that's a real advantage and we'd rather you hear it here. Team Finance on Base locks Uniswap v2-style pairs and v3 positions; Aerodrome LPs and v4 positions are not supported today. If those pools are non-negotiable for your project, UNCX is the credible locker that covers them (budget for its percentage fees at your pool size). If you're choosing your pool before seeding — which the launch stack recommends — a v2/v3 Uniswap pool gets you flat-fee locking, the longest continuous track record in the category, and a published audit trail. The full head-to-head covers the rest of that decision.
How do you choose a locker?
Choose on four questions, in order: does it lock your pool type, what does its fee model cost at your size, can buyers verify the lock easily, and will the platform still be serving lock pages in two years. The first is binary. The second is arithmetic (do it — the table above gives you the inputs). The third favors lockers whose contracts explorers label and whose lock pages screeners recognize — legibility is most of what a lock buys you. The fourth is the one nobody prices until a locker's domain stops resolving; longevity, audits, and a published team are the only signals available. Whatever you choose, teach your community to verify the lock on BaseScan rather than trust anyone's badge — including ours.
FAQ
What's the cheapest way to lock liquidity on Base? PinkLock is free (gas only). Cheapest and best aren't the same question: you're trading away published audits and enterprise track record. For flat-fee locking with both, Team Finance is $150; Unilocker is ~0.05 ETH but Uniswap v2 only.
Who locks Uniswap v3 positions on Base? Team Finance ($150 flat), UNCX (0.1 ETH + 0.5% of liquidity + 2% of collected fees on the default option), and GoPlus (fees unpublished). Unilocker and PinkLock don't document v3 support.
Who can lock Aerodrome LPs? UNCX documents Aerodrome support; AeroLock exists but publishes no documentation or audits. Team Finance does not lock Aerodrome LPs today — we say so on every page it's relevant.
Are locker fees negotiable? Published fees are what they are; some platforms offer enterprise arrangements. Be suspicious of any locker whose pricing only exists in a DM.
Is a free locker safe? Free isn't the risk — unverifiable is. Judge any locker, free or paid, on audited contracts, explorer labeling, and whether its lock pages have stayed online for years. BasedLock's lock pages are gone; that's the failure mode to price.
