TrustSwap is turning four years old! That's a long time in crypto years where tokens and trends change like the weather and everything seems to move at lightspeed. SWAP Token has now been around longer than many of the top projects in the space today, including Avalanche (AVAX), Polkadot (DOT), and PancakeSwap (CAKE).
In an industry where the vast majority of projects fail in the first year and very few last an entire 4-year market cycle, TrustSwap has continued to provide innovative technology for blockchain builders and communities.

On July 9th, 2020, The TrustSwap Token ($SWAP) was launched on the Ethereum blockchain at an initial price of $0.005. All the funds raised were added to a liquidity pool on Uniswap, and the Core Team got to work creating a smart contract ecosystem that could give the token utility. $SWAP token quickly gained a strong community of DeFi enthusiasts who were excited to be part of something new and different.
Web3 Pioneers ⛵
When TrustSwap first started, there were not many blockchain projects that were blending the 'Crypto Community' model with the traditional corporate business structure, a concept now commonly known as "Web 3". TrustSwap pioneered this new idea along with many other token mechanics and features that are now popular across the Web3 space including:
- Time-Weighted Staking - The SWAP Long-Term Staking Pool was one of the first to offer staking bonuses for committing to extended stakes. This model has since been adopted by many popular web3 platforms.
- Launchpad Services - When TrustSwap started off, the only other Launchpad in the space was Binance. Now it seems like every other web3 project is adding "Launchpad" to their list of services. Many have copied our model but there is only one original. Cryptorank voted TrustSwap as the #1 Launchpad in 2023 based on ATH ROI and Customer Service. We intend to keep this title in 2024 and beyond.
- Smart Contract Toolkit - TrustSwap acquired Team Finance in 2020 seeing the incredible potential in a platform that allowed people to easily lock liquidity and prevent rug pulls. The services have continued to expand since then with the addition of the free Token Generator, NFT locks, Staking pools, and in-house trading and bridging solutions.
Others have built similar versions of these applications, but Team Finance is still the only place to find all these powerful tools in one place with competitive pricing and world-class customer service.
We don't mind being copied. It's the ultimate form of flattery and we know that we can't build an entire industry alone. We welcome competition and collaboration as we keep looking to the horizon for new opportunities to bring value to the crypto space and empower web3 innovation.

A Year In Review 📆
It's been quite a year for TrustSwap with some major milestones and achievements. Here's a high-level overview of what we've accomplished in the last 12 months:
- New CEO - In October of 2023, we onboarded our new CEO, Naim Boughazi. He came in and quickly took charge making some important changes to streamline operations. His leadership has helped TrustSwap remain strong and competitive in the quickly changing industry while maintaining a positive and friendly company culture.
- More Blockchains - In the last year, we have added several new blockchains to our list of supported networks on both Team Finance and The Crypto App. These include Solana, Base, BLAST, and Mantle. Additional chains are being added regularly to continue expanding the scope of our multi-chain ecosystem.
- Lots of Launches - TrustSwap Launchpad helped launch many amazing projects last year covering many of the most popular web3 narratives including:

- Team Finance Updates - We have added several new features to the Team Finance platform in the last year including:
- Tokenomics Tool - Our free Tokenomics Tool lets you easily model and test various token deployment strategies before you commit to an irreversible on-chain transaction.
- TeamSwap - Our in-house DEX aggregator lets you trade your favorite tokens directly from the Team Finance platform.
- TeamBridge - Swap tokens across blockchains and between wallets with our new bridging widget powered by deBridge.
- Business Development - The TrustSwap team has been growing our network and developing partnerships with key players across the crypto industry including hosting a live forum at Token 2049 in Dubai. Our most recent collaboration with QuickSwap, the leading DEX on Polygon, is a cross-platform partnership that includes multiple technical integrations and plans to connect our communities for mutual support and long-term success.
